The Certificate Program in Clinical Health Care Ethics combines distance learning with two on-site seminars. The distance learning component will include reading assignments and written case analyses. Some of the reading assignments will be required in preparation for the on-site seminars.

For each course, readings will be made available via the Saint Louis University Electronic Reserve System (ERES). These readings will be accessible via the internet.

For each course other than HCE.G501, participants will be given a case. They will analyze the case using the case consultation method taught in HCE.G501 and incorporate material from other courses as appropriate. The case will be submitted electronically to the course faculty for grading.

The Capstone Project will include additional distance learning elements.

Students taking Certificate Program courses as a part of a degree program should see instructors about additional requirements.

For more information, please contact the Program Director at chcecert@slu.edu or (314) 977-6662.
